Today, I'm supporting the Alzheimer’s Society National Cupcake Day, which aims to raise awareness of dementia and money to fight the cruel disease.
Alzheimer’s Society undertakes really important and vital work to support people living with dementia and to fund research to find a cure. National Cupcake Day is a fantastic opportunity for people to get involved and raise awareness.
I know that many of my constituents across Mansfield and Warsop are affected by dementia, so I hope that people across the constituency will be hosting their own Cupcake Day.
My baking skills aren’t that great so I’ve had to cheat a little by buying some cupcakes! I’ve been assured that that’s still allowed though..
The official Cupcake Day is 13 June, but the Alzheimer’s Society encourages everyone to host their own Cupcake Day on any day that suits them. So get involved!
