If you're looking for something different to do at the weekend then check out BBC Radio Nottingham's Big Day Out, which is taking place on Sunday 28th April. It's a brilliant opportunity to get free entry to many of Nottinghamshire's museums and heritage attractions.
I'm always talking about how much our local area, and Nottinghamshire in general, has to offer so I'd definitely recommend a day out to make the most of what's on our doorstep!
Attractions will be offering special tours, taster sessions or free admission on the day. Please check carefully as in some cases you may need to book in advance.
Locally Mansfield Fire Museum on Rosemary Street will be open from 11am-4pm with outside demonstrations and activities on the Station yard, plus a tombola and refreshments available. The East Midlands Branch of Fire Service Preservation Group will be bringing vintage Fire Appliances dating back to WW1.
