The Prime Minister could not be clearer in his letter to colleagues.

"I do not want delay, the EU do not want delay, but the House has voted for delay. I will not negotiate a delay with the EU, I will continue to do all I can to get Brexit done in October 31st".

October 19, 2019

Incredibly frustrated that Parliament has AGAIN delayed taking a decision on Brexit, and AGAIN refused to firmly back a plan to leave (despite claiming to be desperate to avoid no deal). What this means is we have to come back and go through all this again next week.

I thought I'd share an article I wrote for the Telegraph, which was published on 14th October 2019 following the Queen's Speech. You can see it online here or read it in full below:

October 16, 2019

So the latest is this. The talks look set to go in to another FINAL final day, with a view to agreeing something with European leaders by Friday, which we can then discuss in Parliament in an historic Saturday sitting.

The talks being carried over into tomorrow is, oddly, a pos...

Really encouraging to hear the news that Vision West Notts College are entering into a formal partnership with Nottingham Trent University to deliver high quality HE provision form the West Notts Campus.

October 15, 2019

Last night I spoke in the debate on the Queen's Speech, focusing on the positive domestic proposals around policing, schools, social care and others.

I expressed my hope that we can get Brexit done, so we can have the freedom and capacity to deliver on these key priorities.
