Coronavirus: UK vaccine to be trialled on patients from Tuesday

The first human trials of a UK coronavirus vaccine will begin this week and, if successful, could be in production by September. If so that would be an absolutely incredible achievement to turn around in 9 months something that normally takes many years.


Government is backing both sets of scientists, at Oxford and Imperial College London, with all the funding they need to make it happen.
