The Attorney General Geoffrey Cox speaks for the nation in Parliament today:
''This is a dead Parliament... it is a disgrace. They could hold a Confidence Vote at any time, they could have an election at any time, but they are too cowardly. They could face the judgement of the electorate but they won't because too many of them are simply about preventing us from leaving the EU''.
Parliament doesn't need the Courts to uphold its sovereignty. The courts have been dragged in, not because Parliament can't act, but because Parliament has refused to act. They sit and dictate what they do not want, but refuse to remove the PM that they say is 'unfit' and refuse to step up to deliver any alternative. The electorate is not daft, and these opposition MPs will be found out!
