I am supporting Children's Hospice Week, which is the only week in the year dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children's hospice and palliative care services across the UK - and the seriously ill children and young people that they support.
These services are a lifeline for families when they're facing the toughest times, and they can't continue their vital work without the support of the public, the NHS and local councils.
Children's hospices and palliative care providers deserve so much recognition for the incredible work that they do to support seriously ill children and their families.
I'm proud to support Children's Hospice Week and I've put up an awareness poster in my office to encourage other people to get involved. I'll also be wearing my butterfly badge, provided by together for short lives.
I want to encourage people across Mansfield and Warsop to join me in raising awareness of the invaluable support that these services provide and I hope that everyone gets involved. Remember, you can donate, hold your own fundraiser or take part on social media by sharing moments that matter to you online using #childrenshospiceweek
