I welcome the publication of the Timpson Review this morning, following the Education Select Committee Inquiry into exclusions and "off-rolling".
I look forward to working with the committee to respond formally, so I'll be getting to grips with the detail today, but this bit is certainly good news.
Too many children have been permanently removed from school, and a high % of those have special educational needs. Timpson recommends that schools should continue to be accountable for those pupils until they find new placements, to prevent them falling through the gaps.
