Fixing Potholes

April 4, 2019

Good news earlier this week as the Government announced more funding to tackle potholes and improve our roads.

£858,967 of funding will be allocated to tackle potholes and improve road quality in Nottinghamshire.

The funding has been announced by Transport Secretary Chris Grayling as part of a £200 million investment, including £50 million that will be provided directly to councils to tackle potholes and flood resilience and a further £151 million to reward examples of councils’ best practice – helping councils to invest in innovative technology that will improve the conditions of our local roads.

This new funding to tackle potholes and improve roads is great news for businesses and people across Mansfield and Warsop who rely heavily on our local roads to get to work and to visit friends and family.
