Value for Money in Higher Education Inquiry

November 9, 2018

This week, the Education Select Committee released the outcome of the first inquiry since my involvement, looking into the challenges and funding of Higher Education.

The report recommends more flexibility in the way courses are administered, a much stronger approach to informing young people about how the fees and costs associated with university actually work, more oversight on university Chancellor's pay packets, and more focus on work-based elements of courses to help students into jobs, among 28 proposals.

If you have a particular interest in this, you can read the full report here.
